A recent TV commercial sees two brothers “competing” to pay for transactions at shops, fast food and gas stations. To the sound of Duelin’ Banjos they “race” to pay before the other and proudly declare they’ve “Got it!”

This past weekend I went on my first ever backpacking trip. For those who don’t know, this is like going on a hike with a bit more – the main factor being that you stay overnight somewhere in the back-end of nowhere.

Continuing on with our TV topic, there are a plethora of providers out there all claiming to offer a good deal. However, there is one thing I notice about sites like this. To be honest they’re a bit crappy and don’t inspire me to sign up with them.
